The Clan were in Oregon and Washington over the March 16th and 17th weekend, facing Oregon State University and Pacific Lutheran University. On March 16th, the Clan squared off against Oregon State at Reser Stadium. The Clan came out flying and led 6-1 after the first quarter and never slowed down. Ricky Clark and Athen Yuen put up big numbers, both notching 8 goals while Curtis Hodgson wasn't far behind with 6. Stephen Kojima added 4 goals and 3 assists while Tyler O'Grady also added 3 assists. The defence had a big game, lead by Brent Hoskins, who led the team in ground balls and Aiden Balll, who scored his and the defence's first goal of the year. SFU finished the game strong, downing the Beavers 30-2. March 17th found the Clan ankle deep in snow, facing the Pacific Lutheran Lutes. The Lutes came out hard, mounting a lead early in the first quarter. The game was riddled with penalties for both sides, the major one being given to defenceman Aiden Ball who was ejected late in the first quarter for throwing a punch. The Clan continued to struggle in putting any sort of game together, while the Lutes continued to extend their lead through the second and thrid quarters. Finally in the fourth, SFU began to show some signs of life, as they rallied hard to tie the game 14-14 to take it into sudden death overtime. After a fast-paced first OT, both teams remained tied and the game headed for a second OT. PLU managed a quick goal early on, and that was the game, as PLU defeated SFU 15-14. The loss was SFU's first season loss in 4 years. |

The defence, led by Matt Johnson and veteran long poles Brent Hoskins and Aiden Ball, had one of their best games, allowing just one goal, as SFU added a decisive 26-1 victory to their record.
