Marilyn Hoskins

General Manager (11th Season at Simon Fraser)

Marilyn Hoskins enters her tenth season as Team Manager of the Simon Fraser men’s lacrosse program. Marilyn has become synonymous with collegiate lacrosse in the Pacific Northwest serving as Secretary on the Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League (PNCLL) Executive Board since 2004. Marilyn has also been Chair of the PNCLL’s Final Four Conference Championships in 2001 and 2005.

Marilyn has been a volunteer in the lacrosse community for over 20 years. During this time she has held various executive positions with the Burnaby Minor Lacrosse Association including Vice President. Marilyn has also been Director of the Jack Crosby Novice All-Star Tournament and numerous BCLA Provincial Championships.

In her time at Simon Fraser, Marilyn has been instrumental in establishing a number of off-field initiatives for the Clan responsible for meeting SFU’s fundraising goals each season. She is also a founding Director of the SFU Lacrosse Endowment Fund and is a committee member of the annual Maple Leaf Awards Dinner & Silent Auction.

Marilyn and her husband Gary reside in Burnaby, BC. They are also the proud parents of two Simon Fraser Alumni, current SFU Co-Head Coach Brent (SFU ’00) and Nathan (SFU ’05) who graduated with his Masters Degree from Boise State University in 2009 where he was also an Assistant Coach with the men’s lacrosse team for two seasons from 2007-2008. Marilyn works as a Neurophysiology Technologist at BC’s Children’s Hospital.
